OFFICIALLY: San Francisco Considering Trading  for $75.5 Million star on blockbuster with rivals for two year contract…

The San Francisco 49ers have the second to last pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft and need to address the cornerback, offensive lineman, wide receiver, and linebacker positions. However, rumors are circling just minutes away from the start of the draft that the team could trade away at least one of their star receivers to a team with a higher pick to secure star rookie receiver Malik Nabers.

Rumors have started regarding the 49ers including star receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel in different trade talks with teams about possibly moving up in the draft. While this just remains a rumor for the time being, several fans believe the team should trade Aiyuk to secure Nabers in the draft.

Here are some of the 49ers’ fans reacting to the rumor on social media agreeing that it would be a good idea for their favorite team to trade up in the draft:

Aiyuk has been a hot topic of discussion this offseason after he and the 49ers could not agree in their contract talks about a possible extension, which has led to speculation of what teams would be interested in adding the star receiver. While he remained with the team through free agency, it’s looking more and more likely that we could see a big-time trade happen in the draft sending Aiyuk to another squad.

While Samuel has also been a name brought up in these rumors, it seems unlikely that the 49ers would be willing to deal away one of their best offensive playmakers. Samuel also signed a three-year contract extension with the team this past February, worth $71.55 million, with $58.1 million guaranteed, so trading him would leave a lot of dead cap space for the team to pay in the future

Do you think that San Francisco will trade one of their star receivers to a team with a better draft pick to secure Nabers, or will they keep their pick and focus on other positions of interest?
