BTS has officially confirmed that the longโawaited fullโgroup comeback will take place in spring 2026, marking their return after completing compulsory military service. During a special Weverse livestream on July 1, the seven members reunited on screen for the first time since 2022 to reveal plans for a new album and global tour.
They announced that recording will begin in the United States starting July 2025, with the aim of releasing the group album in spring 2026. The album is expected to blend the individual experiences and growth of each member, while preserving the energy and unity that originally defined BTS.
Alongside the album reveal, BTS confirmed a world tour to follow. This will be their first global concert series since โPermission to Dance On Stageโ in 2021. While full tour details are yet to be officially published, speculative reports have listed a spring 2026 leg including stops in Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Toronto, London, Paris, Berlin, and Sydney.
In terms of military service completion: all seven members have now fulfilled their duties. The final member, Suga, was discharged on June 21, 2025, making way for the groupโs full reunion.
