Ipswich kicked off the action towards the top of the table in Saturday’s early kick-off when they hosted fifth-placed West Bromwich Albion at Portman Road. Kieran McKenna’s side found themselves a goal down on two occasions during the game.

Nathan Broadhead equalised early in the second half after Tom Fellows opening strike, but John Swift gave the Baggies the lead again in the 76th minute. Hutchinson came off the bench in the second half and stepped up in the 93rd minute to earn what could end up being a crucial point for Ipswich.

The goal was the 20-year-old’s fourth in 34 appearances in all competitions so far this season after joining the Championship side on loan from Chelsea in the summer. His impact on the game is bound to catch the eye of Mauricio Pochettino who will already be planning for youngsters who could possibly make the step up next season.
