Michigan confirm new signing of  2 defense  tackle which worth $80 million for coming Preseason…

Two Michigan football defenders have been selected by PFF as Preseason All-Americans.

It’s always interesting when rival fans or other college football fans assume that Michigan football will take a dramatic step back in the 2024 season.

Some sort of drop-off is expected. The Wolverines won the national championship after a 15-0 season. There haven’t been many of those seasons in college football history and no program has ever done that back-to-back.

Michigan football also has an incredibly difficult schedule. Yet, if the Wolverines are able to win 9-10 games next season, they could and should be in the 12-team College Football Playoff.

There are some questions about the quarterback position, mainly, but the offensive line is all replacing its top six players from a season ago. The Wolverines are still uber talented up front, which tells you what a great job Sherrone Moore did as the O-line coach. He was as good as it got in college football and he’ll reap the rewards as head coach.

Moore team’s will also have the benefit of quite possibly the best defense in college football. Michigan football has three likely first-round picks in Will Johnson, Mason Graham, and Kenneth Grant. Johnson and Graham would be top-20 picks if they were eligible in this year’s draft.

Pro Football Focus released it’s Preseason All-American team and it featured Johnson and Graham. I’m surprised actually that Grant didn’t make the list. Even with Grant being snubbed, Michigan football was the only team with two players on the list. So again, the dramatic dropoff many rival fans are expecting likely isn’t going to happen — not with one of the best defenses in college football.
