They’re Really Doing This Again?! NKOTB’s ‘Block by Block World Tour’ Is About to Take Over 2026 — See Cities…

It’s official: the iconic boy band New Kids on The Block — Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood — are back in the spotlight as 2026 gears up to be another massive year for NKOTB and Blockheads everywhere. While there’s been plenty of excitement around a world tour, what’s been confirmed so far for 2026 isn’t a traditional globe-spanning trek — it’s a massive Las Vegas residency that’s taken over the calendar and re-energized fans like never before.

Dubbed “The Right Stuff” — after one of their biggest hits — NKOTB’s residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas has been extended through much of 2026 due to overwhelming demand. Originally announced with a handful of dates, the run now includes 24 shows scheduled in three major blocks: February 14–28, June 19–July 4, and October 2–17 next year.

Rather than traveling city to city like a typical world tour, the band is “taking over” Las Vegas with an immersive concert series that promises big production, classic hits and nostalgia for fans across generations. The residency features elaborate staging, confetti moments, and high-energy performances tailored to a Vegas audience — essentially turning Sin City into their tour base for the year.

It’s a somewhat different strategy than fans might have expected if they were anticipating a coast-to-coast or international Block by Block World Tour, but it’s one that makes sense: Vegas residencies offer consistency for performers and a destination experience for fans. And after years of touring the world — from massive stadiums to summer arena runs — NKOTB are leaning into that celebration in one place, making each block of shows feel like its own special event.

While unconfirmed world tour dates and cities continue to circulate in fan forums and social speculation (with rumors of shows in New York, Miami, London, Chicago and more), no official comprehensive global tour schedule has been announced by the band or their management as of early 2026.

So for Blockheads hoping to sing along to “Step by Step” across continents, the closest thing in 2026 will be a nonstop NKOTB celebration in Las Vegas — and if history is any indicator, there’s always 2027 (or beyond) for another real “world tour.”
