BTS has announced plans to relocate to the United States as part of their preparations for a highly anticipated comeback in spring 2026. Following the completion of their mandatory military service in June 2025, members RM, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook have already arrived in Los Angeles to begin work on the group’s new album .
RM was the first to depart South Korea on July 6, 2025, followed by Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook, who were spotted at Incheon International Airport on July 7 . The remaining membersโJin, V, and J-Hopeโare expected to join them in the U.S. soon, with reports indicating that the group plans to stay there for at least two months to focus on their upcoming project .
In addition to their musical endeavors, RM is set to debut his first solo art exhibition, titled “RM X SFMOMA,” at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in October 2026. This marks a historic collaboration, as RM becomes the first K-pop artist to partner with the prestigious American museum .
Fans are eagerly anticipating BTS’s return to the U.S., marking their first group activity in three years since their last local performance in Oakland in 2018 . The group’s move to the U.S. signifies a new chapter in their career, with plans for new music and a global tour in 2026.
