In an emotional and long-awaited announcement, Jason John Bonham, son of the legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, has officially confirmed his return to the stage in 2025. This marks his first major live performances since 2010, and the tour is set to be a powerful tribute to his late father’s enduring legacy and unparalleled influence on rock music.

The upcoming tour, titled Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening: A Celebration of Legacy and Excellence, will span 21 cities across the United States. Kicking off in early May 2025, the tour aims to celebrate not only the 50th anniversary of Led Zeppelin’s groundbreaking double album Physical Graffiti, but also to commemorate John Bonham’s lasting imprint as one of the greatest drummers in rock history.

Jason Bonham, known for his thunderous style reminiscent of his father’s, expressed deep reverence for the project. “This isn’t just another tour—it’s a love letter to my dad,” Bonham stated during the official announcement. “I’ve waited 15 years for the right moment to return, and I can’t think of a better way to honor my father’s spirit and the music he helped create.”

The tour’s setlist will be centered around Physical Graffiti, often considered one of Led Zeppelin’s most ambitious and masterful works. However, fans can also expect powerful renditions of Zeppelin classics such as “Kashmir,” “When the Levee Breaks,” and “Achilles Last Stand,” as well as deeper cuts that highlight the band’s wide-ranging artistry. Visuals, archival footage, and personal anecdotes will accompany the performances, providing fans with an immersive experience that bridges past and present.

John Bonham, who tragically passed away in 1980, has long been celebrated as the backbone of Led Zeppelin. His unmatched power, precision, and feel behind the drum kit revolutionized rock percussion and inspired generations of musicians. This new tour serves as a reminder of his immense contribution to music and his son’s unwavering commitment to preserving that legacy.

The tour begins May 3, 2025, in Wallingford, Connecticut, and will conclude at the iconic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on May 31. Tickets go on sale February 28, 2025, via Jason Bonham’s official website and major ticketing platforms.

As the legacy of Led Zeppelin continues to inspire, Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening promises to be more than just a concert series—it will be a tribute, a celebration, and a long-overdue homecoming for fans of one of rock’s most iconic families.
